Personality: Despite all that has taken place during his youth, Tamaki has found the strength to overcome the sadness and sorrow. Bearing no grudges and regretting absolutely nothing our blonde host seems to turn whatever emotions he has dealt with into nothing but pure energy. Quite active, he is usually seen flirting with the other woman or planning some extravagant and unnecessary event for the Host Club. However, in light of all this there is 'darker' side to him. Tamaki does tend to get into seemingly abysmal slumps where he'll buckle down and wallow in his sorrow in one of his favorite spots, a corner ... but that typically happens only when there is a blow to his enormous ego. Keeping this in mind he tends to get just as emotional when someone tells him a heart-felt tale of their own personal experience or problem [most of which reminds me of soap operas] and feels the dire need to help them out.
